After Midnight Design

After Midnight Design created some of the most recognizable logos and artwork in the Atlanta community and offered clients full-service

Key Accomplishments:

 

Atlanta Dogwood Festival

Designed collateral and look for the Atlanta Dogwood Festival including: posters, brochure, T-shirts, certificates, invitations, signage and advertisements in various publications.

 

Best Friends Animal Society

Managed the 2005 Lint Roller Party, the annual fundraiser for No More Homeless Pets Atlanta, a grassroots campaign of Best Friends Animal Society. Designed the logo and look of the event. Responsible for planning the event; revenue generation; sponsorship development; design of collateral; and marketing of event.

Georgia Music Hall of Fame

Designed logos and support collateral for such exhibits as: A Voice of the Own: Black Classical Music in Georgia; Welcome to Atlanta: A Tenth Anniversary Celebration of So So Def Recordings; and Party Out of Bounds: 25 Years of Athens Music. Assisted the Museum Curator in acquiring materials for the Party Out of Bounds: 25 Years of Athens Music exhibit.

Maroon 5

Designed logo for GRAMMY Award Winning artists Maroon 5.

Recording Academy - Atlanta Chapter

In charge of the design and printing of invitations to all local chapter events. Have assisted in the event planning; in charge of the design and printing of the collateral; and have been responsible for the revenue generation through advertising and ticket sales for the Atlanta Heroes Awards. The Heroes Awards, the highest honor bestowed by the Atlanta Chapter, are presented to philanthropic local musicians and music industry professionals at a gala event featuring a silent auction, sit-down dinner and live show. Served as Graphic Design Chair on the Board of the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy, was a Voting Member of the Academy and served on the GRAMMYs Selection Best Album Package Design National Committee.

 

Rialto Center for the Performing Arts

Art directed the illustration for Broadway star Savion Glover’s worldwide premiere “Savion at the Rialto”. Designed the support collateral that included: advertisements, event program and poster.

 

Taste of Atlanta

Designed look and collateral including: letterhead package, invitations, postcards, programs, brochure and flyers.

 

Underground Atlanta

Designed logo that is currently being used for Underground Atlanta.

 

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC)

Worked for four years as a designer in the marketing department. Designed the look and collateral for the AJC’s BBQ and Blues Festival.

Grant Park Conservancy 2014 & 2015

Graphic Designer and Membership Consultant

Hired to increase Conservancy membership 200% through the creation of an annual membership drive campaign. Achieved goal in half the

allotted time period. Provided graphic design support for campaign. Designed annual report and other marketing materials.

 

Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School’s 2012-2015 Fall Festivals

Event Creator, Event Chair and Event Planner

Created and implemented the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (ANCS) Fall Festival. The festival included: pony rides, dunking booth,

bake sale, cake walk, arts & crafts, music, contests and food. The festivals have made over $30,000 for the school’s PTCA.

 

Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School’s Annual Fund Campaign

Graphic Designer, Auction Committee Member and Fundraising Committee Member

Involved in all aspects of the 2012-2013 & 2013-2014 ANCS Annual Fund Campaigns that includes the school’s largest fundraiser, the annual silent auction. Designed the Annual Fund mailers and all support materials. These two campaigns combined brought in over $500,000 for the school’s Annual Campaign.

Grant Park Home and Garden Tour

Annual neighborhood fundraiser held in Grant Park, a neighborhood in Southeast Atlanta.

Designed the logo and look of the event. Responsible for planning and running the event; revenue generation; sponsorship development; design of collateral; and marketing of Tour. Under Ashley Miller’s management, the 2004 Tour raised over $31,000.

 

Grant Park Parents Network

Board Member and Events Committee Chair from 2006-2014

Created and implemented all social and fundraising programs. Designed support collateral and logos for these programs.

 

The Daffodil Project - Bringing Color To Grant Park A Bulb At A Time

Creator and Program Facilitator from 2010-2015

Oversee the annual fundraising and plantings. The mission of The Daffodil Project is to provide the Grant Park community, especially the

children, the opportunity to make a hands-on, colorful and long-lasting contribution to their community through the planting of flowering

bulbs. Since its inception in 2009, funds have been raised to purchase bulbs that have been planted in various locations around Grant Park.
